About Us
Background
Proaction Behavioral Health Alliance, a not-for-profit organization, originated from Project Rehab. Project Rehab, actively improving lives since 1968, acquired other organizations throughout the years. With several brand names now operating as an alliance, the Proaction Behavioral Health Alliance brand name was launched to unify all the service brands. In addition to the Project Rehab programs, the Alliance includes Community Treatment Centers, Life Guidance Services, EAC Employee Assistance Center, and Corporate Services. The Corporate Services division provides all day-to-day operational tasks such as accounting, human resources, fundraising, and marketing for each of the divisions. This allows service providers to better focus on advancing our mission to improve lives.

It is our vision to play an active role in creating a community where all members are able to secure the behavioral health services they need without fear of stigma or ability to pay.
Alliance Members
Proaction Behavioral Health Alliance works with its service organizations to improve the ability of individuals to take care of themselves.
- Project Rehab provides effective treatment of substance use and co-occurring disorders in a therapeutic residential environment. They also assist those in transition before/after treatment or incarceration.
- Community Treatment Centers includes four programs in the Detroit area that help those reentering the community after incarceration.
- Life Guidance Services specializes in providing outpatient counseling and wellness programs.
- EAC Employee Assistance Center helps employees handle life’s challenges at work and at home.
